To opowieść o romansie Kamila, 32-letniego dresiarza, marzącego o karierze muzyka hip-hop i Iwony, przeżywającej kryzys małżeński, przedstawicielki wielkomiejskiej klasy średniej.

Poszczególne języki pierwszo i drugoplanowych bohaterów tworzą wspólnie fascynującą, muzyczną fonosferę – aurę wielkiego miasta.

It is a story about the romance between Kamil, a 32-year-old streetwise man who dreams of a career as a hip-hop artist, and Iwona, a representative of the urban middle class who is going through a marital crisis. Their relationship serves as a starting point for reflecting on the poetic and vulgar language, steeped in pop culture, used by the characters created by Masłowska, which prevents them from forming authentic relationships.

The individual languages of the main and supporting characters come together to create a fascinating, musical soundscape — the aura of a big city. We are interested in the perspective presented in Other People, which can be explored through the following questions: Are we the ones who use language, or has language taken control of us? Does a sphere of non-verbal communication exist, and can it in any way be made conscious and subjected to reflection? What does creativity in the realm of language involve?
